It might actually be another void expansion.

I mean the sentinel could be Theer as he was essentially the sentinel of the nameless used to keep the Gods in check. With the void being riped open and his fate being unknown it would rather rightly named to have an expansion based on what happened to him.

Other people already in lore it could be about:

The Ethernaughts, we known they fought Anashti in palace but what happened there after especially considering that Anashti was defeated by us.

Some elven character (one of the paladin's from EQLive Lore, Mayoung, or even potentially what happened to Fionia Vie)

The Combine Empire

The Nameless (he watched over the Gods themselves, we have seen the God's returned what happened to him)

The Sleeper or Nagafen, while we generally known what happened with both of them (and in Naggy's case where he is currently), they both are "watchers" over the events in Norrath.

You would think though that if they were going to redo something that many people loved, such as Velious, they would have stuck something in the title that brought people in.

They are probably following the TSO thinking. I imagine that they are going to push that it is very story driven and the title is pertaining to the story, not the location. with TSO, they did a great job writing lore and posting it on EQ2 players, but it didn't feel any more story driven than other expansions in the game. I hope if they are committed to story, they do it better in game than just posting stuff on eq2players since the majority of players don't visit that site regularly.

Little fed ex errands with their own side stories from small encampments just water down the over arcing storyline. In TSO, there was a great storyline, but 95% of the quests that came with TSO have nothing to do with that storyline. They need to focus on getting rid of that fat and keep a tight scope of story. And voiceovers! Voiceovers are a great way to bring NPCs to life and potray stories, but main storylines NEVER get voiceovers, as the new areas are the only places that get that attention.

If thats true, then I wonder if they are planning a full 1 - 90 expac? 2 continents, al though small, should provide alot of content!

Maybe not 1 - 90, maybe some levels other than just 80-90 though.

A full range of zones was a great idea, because EoF sure didn't suck hairy herpes-covered balls!

They need to go back to the KoS formula. Tiny zones packed with high end content.
