No ones saying it would, however it would get me into playing again.. Atleast for awhile. Currently there isnt much else Id be interested in. I had heard rumors a month or two ago they were probably releasing Velious this year. I went ahead and turned my account back on, leveled up a few new characters.. but now it seems like wasted time and my account is in queue for shutdown next month.

Really, I felt KoS was the apex of this game, and I can't see them figuring out how to duplicate that quality when the only apparent goal seems to be to woo WoW players (even though they're all fanboys who think Blizzard developers shit golden eggs).

EoF was the glory days of this game. But to be honest, KoS was still a viable part of the game so I can't say KoS was shit. It just needed EoF to not suck.

I think about it the opposite. Comparing t7 to t7, KoS made EoF work and that seems to have been the clear intent from the old dev posts on EoF being a gap filler. I'm a non-raider so raid content does not factor in to my opinions.

RoK and TSO combined are suck though and if TSF follows the pattern, I think I'm back to quit status or perma-crafter.

yeah, I wouldn't say that bring Velious back would automatically make it a good expansion. Hell, look what happened with RoK. So many people were thrilled that Kunark was coming back and they did a shit job and disappointed everyone that played RoK in EQ1. I think that KoS has been the best expansion so far, yet that is the only one that didn't rehash an EQ1 area.
