Actually, I can't fault them for this, this has been well known from the beginning.

No doubt it will feel like a "gotcha" to a lot of people who recently dumped SA.

Assuming we can all live without Bloodlines, the Splitpaw expansion is worth the $7 cost just for Splitpaw gate IMO, and especially if you don't have and aren't planning to get DoF and Maj'Dul gate.

I'm not sure anyone on this board can live without Fallen Dynasty really, assuming most guilds still kill Chel'Drak and Matron. So if you did just dump SA and now only have EQ2, you should expect to spend at least 7 bucks.

Their argument would be that you weren't just paying for the expansion packs with EQ2 all this time - you could have also logged into and played Star Wars, EQ, Vanguard, Planet Side, etc. If you didn't, well, then you just didn't take advantage of all your opportunities or consume your benefits wisely.

If you bothered to read the agreement with the station pass you would of relized from the start that once u removed the station pass you would loose the extra benifits that go with it.

You basicly get what you pay for, If you pay for full coverage on your car and never get into an accident and finally drop your insurance down to the bare legal min should you insurance company pay for a new car if u get into an accident? No. This is the same thing here, u want more coverage you pay more moneys, u wana save money u do without.

However this does give you a chance to see what AP's u want and if u only want TFD AP then spend the 4.99 or 5.99 and drop station access and buy it like most of the rest of us did. its your own fault for thinking that you are going to get all the spiffys after you quit paying top dollar for your game time.

Since the AP's were a big incentive to it, yeah I can see them yanking that and making you pay for it. I honestly think they should lower the price on the first 2 AP's. Maybe if you drop SA you can buy them for $1-$2 a piece because I'm sure they've recouped their production cost by now. Hell even the most recent one is 6 months old so like expansions they should probably have price drops.

I bought Splitpaw before I ever used Station Access, and then dumped it a while back (before the price hike), and I totally don't remember actually buying TFD, but it's on my account for some reason. :/

I've never had SA since I only play EQ2 and never thought it was worth it. I've never complained because I had to pay for every AP and the SA people got it free, was just my choice not to get SA.

Think of the AP's that they give you access to with SA, like renting them. As long as you pay the renal fee (the SA price) you can use them, as well as all the other games and features included. There are many instances where that is true. You go to a video store, rent an Xbox game, decide you like it and want to keep renting it, and guess what? Eventually you pay enough in rentals to where you could have bought the game..... same thing there.
