Default To collapse, or not to collapse? That is the question.

One of our users, Manyak, has identified the solution to being able to get collapsed forum sections by default. This was previously requested by Snark I believe.

It appears to work, at least it does in my browser. So thanks Manyak.

I'm afraid that collapsing the class and server forums by default will result in lowered use of those forums, however. I personally prefer not to do it.

So we'll leave it up to the users.

Poll will run two days - should the server and class sections be expanded or collapsed by default when you access this site?

25PP IS OK?

I still say bans for those who can't figure out a forum and send you a PM. After posting their message for us all to laugh at, of course.

Well, I use all the sections, so I'd have to open them anyway. It may look cleaner on fist load, but once you get in to the threads it's all open anyway. I'll vote for leaving them open, but really it wouldn't matter either way to me.

Doesn't really matter to me since I end up toggling them closed and using the Post Bot more than anything.

I've always loathed the collapsed forums on SOE's boards.

Especially since at work our connection seems to be so shoddy that loading up multiple forums to check hot topics is painful.
