Aye, I believe the "avatars" they meant were not the contested kind that drop loot, but the older term used to describe your character. So "broader appearances" means like "additional hairstyle choices" I think.

Why do I see alot of good idea's in there, but have this feeling they wont implement any unless a fair amount of quitters pick them? Wtf kinda survey is that?

A survey where SOE admits just a few of the vast short comings of this game and asks people leaving to point out which one of them caused them to leave...

mysteriously missing from the possible choices...

• Cookie-cutter encounters where everything is just straight burns with heroic adds and rain of thistles.

• Shitty itemization/progression; Avatar loot upgrades are nice, and it seems to be getting better... but that doesnt change the fact that it took 2yrs to get this rather huge part of the game addressed......

• Nothing interesting to strive for outside of raiding nightly and saving dkp in hopes that the rng rolls your 1/24.

No doubt Im missing some other major complaints/reasons one would leave game, but those are 3 that jump to my mind if that survey were presented to me :\
