What's sad is that there isn't a single aspect of the game that isn't being recklessly inflated and maxed out. Look at runspeed, on my mount-less wizard I can run neck-and-neck with any mount. Shit, look at how plat became the new gold. And how many players have decks and decks of free LoN cards they'll never touch but for the loot cards, it's like getting a birthday card from your grandmom and shaking the money out of it without even reading the greeting.

Some players might bot against encounters but it seems like he bots the encounter design!

Working with a 100% cap is what needs to be fixed. There needs to be ways to make numbers past 100% worthwhile. Dosen't even take much thought to figure them out. And doing it this way would be much less damaging to all aspects of the game.

So the wis line from the rogue KOS tree that gave 75% double attack if you used 1h was a myth?

KOS brought about DA and crit through AA's only, eof brought about DA and crit through gear.

That makes sense to me. Make stats past the hardcap meaningful in some way kind of like the heroic stats in EQ1 or whatever.

And this is better than having to never replace your gear again? The real problem is that in RoK, they made quest gear viable, and (rightly) we whined because fabled gear was hardly better. Instead of nerfing quest gear like they should've, they beefed up the raid shit. Now they're pot committed.

We need a global nerf. We need to be at level 90 around where we were at level 80. I'm not convinced that this is the right way, some people (not Gage) made some good points, they're right, this is dangerous. But keepin' on trucking with no mega nerf? That's just fucked.

I dunno what "we" you're talking about but it certainly doesn't include me.

What "we" need is an item developer who understands how the game works and the impacts of his decisions over the long term.

Exactly.

I've been saying this for awhile now. Every point cirt past 120% counts towards crit mod, maybe in a 1:1 ratio, maybe less. Every point of Doubleattack past 100 give bonus damage to the doubleattack strike itself. Do away with hardcaps, lets someone with 300 haste actually be able to go faster than 125% haste. etc.

You stupid fucking arm chair developers... shut the fuck up already. All of you are going to be grinding to level 90 the first chance you get anyways. You all complain about the same change in items every expansion. I have not seen ONE person actually complain realistically about getting a new item in a new expansion that was better than their previous equipped item. SHUT THE FUCK UP.
