For those in this thread who obviously don't pay fucking attention, allow me to remind you that BOTH DCUO and The Agency are being released for PC and PS3....I can guaran-goddamn-tee you if there is an EQ3 it will follow suit.

This shit comes from way above Smed...the top brass at Sony are desperate to prop up the fucking piece of shit PS3 any way they possibly can. MS and Sony are locked in a battle to establish their respective consoles as the ultimate "entertainmet hub"; integrating tasks normally associated with a PC or other hardware is part and parcel of both companies battle plans.

Ok, I'm sitting watching EverCracked, and the camera goes into a room and there's some concept art and before the camera can get there, he gets shoved out of the room and the door slammed in his face. What what do you know, there's a note taped to the door with 'EverQuest Next' hand-written on it. And I said to myself holy shit did I just see what I think I saw? After the flick, I asked a source if I imagined that, and they told me, no, you did not just imagine that.

I really am surprised I am the breaking news source for this. There were 270+ ppl in the audience and this was the SECOND showing of the movie.

eq2 has always had bad advertising or imo no advertising. They may have competed a little better with WoW if they did, i even heard a wow commercial on my local radio station the other day and was like wtf

I have an xbox360, I haven't touched it for over a year. Console gamepads are fine for shit like Halo, but I VERY strongly prefer a programmable keypad + programmable mouse combo for MMO's.

Shit, I prefer that for FPS's too, now that I think about it. The level of fidelity that you get with a console gamepad is just too low compared to PC's for anything requiring precision movements. I'm thinking specifically of moving your character around and aiming (FPS's), but also for precise target selection and ability usage (MMO's) as well.

Oh oh oh... I know what scene you are talking about. That door with the sign... it looked to me like it was the the drawing board for Underfoot... the next expansion for Everquest. That could actually explain why it said Everquest next.

If Guitar Hero and Rock Band can manage to include a fucking box full of instruments I think Sony could manage a keyboard and mouse pack in.
