I've never played guitar hero or rock band, but you must be flipping nuts to think those controllers are anything but the same game pad mechanics in a different package. sure, it looks different but all the buttons just get moved and coded to account for one of the original game controllers. the guitar has nothing on a keyboard and mouse. |

The funny thing is with the pictures on those mountain dew boxes, the characters don't look anything like that in game.
In game they kind of look like 8 bits of cheese wedges stuck together.

Yeah, if the characters looked like that in game, it might not be so bad to play. But then again, if they had a semi decent graphics engine, then all the people with 10 year old computers wouldn't be able to play it. That is the one thing that really destroyed this game at launch. If you didn't have a decent machine, this game looked like super mario brothers.
