I personally feel were on an upturn here. with the ammount of time i have spent on these boards in the last few months, and the dev posts i have seen since then, i have too say that the new guys who are comming arorund often are really getting things done right for once. If the rest of the dev team can take this as an example, then the future of EQ2 looks bright. The only issues i have had with the game as of late are more based in RL, so I cant blame the devs for any of that. as for customer service.... the last 5 CS tickets i responded too were all answered by Kimbial herself, and i have too say, she is doing a hell of a job in fixing some of the issues i have had. Just today I was out questing on my newb zerker (lvl 16), and i was hindered for about 5 hours by 10 different bot groups. i rounded em all up one by one on a list in a long but through CS ticket, logged for the night, and the next day i came back and i couldnt find any of them for 6 hours. Per the latest community post involving julie the intern and all that has happened with that, im feeling a bit better every time i see the "the issue is under investigation and will be dealth with" response, than i ever did before

Snark has been bitching since day 1, and i dont think he'll ever stop

The game needs an expansion (a good expansion) not a piece of crap where most of the new content is for lowbies

Oh yeah and Swashies need some new Ca's. I dont know how any swash can still raid hardcore without the assistance of booze or drugs just due to the tedium factor.

Great gear. Yeah, I finally believe an expansion is gonna pull it out, and I'm basing that on the last few months.
Hi, I'm very curious to where you got this info? Sounds a lot like T5 to me, which would be utterly awesome. 25-30 Contested seems unbelievabe, due to the fact that T5 has onlt 25 approximate raid targets. This includes instances, X2's and contested, even the Prismatic dragons. Tons of dungeons? I could care less unless they are challenging, fun, and well done. Give us insane amount of shitty content, and we are going in a step back, not forward. The gear, I can truely expect great things, Achro is doing an AMAZING job, and I tip my hat to him. Thats not where my concerns are, Its in the rest of the content, that just was not there at launch of EoF, but is making its way into the game slowly. So Yes, I see the game going in the right direction. I just hope there is no other MMO release date they feel they need to compete with and rush the xpac(VG comes to mind)

Without question the game is on an upswing where the content is concerned. That said, has anyone else noticed the general lack of people rushing to start the game? I'm not saying that I don't still run acros the odd newb, but there seems to me to be a slowly dwindling number of people playing the game. I'm not sure how you go about attracting new people to a game like Everquest that hasn't even been on shelves in a while (at least not near me) but in order for the future of EQ2 to really get brighter there definitely needs to be an influx of some new blood not only to the management and development of the game but to the playerbase as well.

Depending on how much it costs to run and update the game, it may be a good thing. Less casual retards means more focus on raiders.

Haha sad thing is It's so true. Bitching about the stuff we want fixed / changed in a constructive manner like some threads here have done, have gotten Dev attention and have been changed rather quickly.
