That's gonna be changed pretty soon though, when they gonna merge all dmg types to trauma, nox, elemental and arcane anyway.

I thought they are just merging the resists on gear, not the damage actually done by players or NPCs?

Are they just merging the subsets or what? I mean are they really trying to dumb this game down or what?

The merging of crits is already stupid enough, bad enough, and lazy enough. So now we're just going to have to worry about 4 resists? Trauma, Nox, Elemental, and Arcane?

Yeah, there'd be a lot of raid content if you couldn't do all of RoK in one night and most guilds that have cleared the content of TSO, can do it in one or two nights total; without having to raid more than a few hours a session, certainly not 6-7 per night to clear TSO.

I wish they'd just make the encounters challenging already and LEAVE them difficult. Maybe that's their new solution with this "Hard" option, hopefully they won't change the hard ones and they'll leave them immune to the casuals bitchfests.

Crits are a shift depending on how they do it but, how is switching resists to explicitly be what they've always been implicitly really dumbing things down?

I hope this isnt another munzoks, they have failed to get me excited about any new raid content so far, in fact in most cases I dread it because they usually try to make a cool new encounter and all they do is release piece of shit buggy crap that takes upward of 4 months to marginally fix.

You might be the first person I've ever seen who thinks the difference between Poison and Disease damage is a meaningful mechanic that adds challenge to the game world.

Do you shit yourself with rage every time a meaningless hotfix comes out too?

That's the impression i got that they are merging dmg types, but maybe only resists on gears.. time will tell i guess.
