The way I understood it when I talked to Fyreflyte at FF, the nerfs are needed because even with the gear degradation, certain pieces would be too powerful for the slot's intention, esp. with the vision he has (I remember hearing one piece would never have more than 3 base damage other than shoulders and neck but my memory could be off, I'm fried from GSEC class)

I'm not opposed to the basic concept of gear degradation (at least not entirely), but level 80 gear begins to degrade at level 81 is fucked up.

Haha this is just HILARIOUS considering everything thats been said. They can't even create a system that works (even though it IS a shitty system [as we know it]) without nerfing us before the fucking expansion comes out. |
