It takes no in-game action (like a TS bot or a harvest bot). All it does is makes a macro.

Probably a good analogy for what this bot is that it figure out which raid mob you're on and make a macro for you, such as "I've got hourglass!", "Need Salt!", etc.

Is that legal?

No, it's not within the rules of the game. ACT can be made to do a lot of shady stuff. But considering you are running a 3rd party program to do assist your playing, then obviously it's not going to be within the rules of the game.

Yes. They are. They are definitely against the spirit of the game, and not within the rules.

This isn't a think, it is a definite. Interacting with the game from a 3rd party application is most definitely not within the rules. There is no arguing that.

G15 is legal and and is supported on eq2 side.

Also isboxer is allowed and that program mirrors mouse actions to other monitor and puting hotkeys in right spot you are playing another toon without actually playing it.Hell you can turn the moniter off if you wanted.

Pretty much. I believe the rather fuzzy line is drawn with "Unattended Play". You can make your macros as big and complex as you want so long as your presence is still required to actually play the game.

That's what I was told -- that you can have a script make in-game actions, so long as you are at the computer... but like I said, this one doesn't take in-game actions; it just makes a macro.
