This is awesome news. Quest Sharing means they've full steam ahead on stealing stuff from Vanguard. Now they just gotta get the neat NBG loot system and Diplomacy and we're good.

um technically soe owns both games so is it really stealing or more like applying new concepts to old game? =)

Hey, if the next expansion's new Race is the Kojani who specialize in Diplomacy, I'm all good with it.

I can live with the addition of the Blood Mage class too. Actually now that I think about it, they should just reskin vanguard, change the combat and release it as an EQ2 expansion. Memories of Telon...yah...

Listen, when a car comes with headlights, we don't say that Ford stole the Idea from Chevrolet.

There are certain minimums that we as MMO players should require from our games. It is only a matter of time before some new technology in one game bleeds over into the others. We expect it, we wouldn't stay in a game that falls far behind in what we consider basic technology.

Besides, all of this shit was stolen from D&D, created long before there was ever an Online to massively multiplayer roleplay on. Quests and quest items were shared from the first toss of a d20.

So there.
