Default How does your server handle lag at peak raid times?

Generally speaking, raiding at peak times obviously causes some server side lag on most servers. The question that I am interested in is... What server has the LEAST server side lag during the peak times?

We'll use Palace for example... 8est rolls around and 5 guilds are in there... How does your server stack up?

LDL = Sucks balls.

For some reason Palace seems to be the only zone we have problems in and its really only on the Tythus fight if there are 3+ guilds in palace.

Dont know about the best, but AB definetly has the worst lag ever.

It has gotten to the point that in ToMC where you can hit a hotkey and wont see anything happen for a full second or more.

I find it extremely amusing that this kind of lag still exists in EQ2.

When I raided in WoW (which has way more people in raid) I encountered absolutely nothing.

The 2 games are a night and day difference in the lag aspect.

Flames now has 0 support from anyone. No TTH, no Zam (although I'm not sure how much there was), no SOE, no one.

Splitpaw during peek raids times, ping is around 280-320

Meh if its lagging on splitpaw - especially palace - its about 1 CA every 3 seconds if that.. 3 or 4 guilds in there at once can cause that... Might as well take an afk till they leave.

I remember when SOH came out and there were about 12 guilds in there. Auto attack even stopped :O

Fucking amazing how shit this game can be after all this time.

Not exactly true... the more populous servers experience this, but for a different reason. Dalaran was almost completely bogged down by lag some nights on Mal'ganis, to the point where people not only weren't able to do anything useful in the city, but were being constantly booted and lagged out. Any time Wintergrasp was running it'd lag the entire server down (at least any WOTLK content, which appeared to be all running off the same cluster). We had to call a 15-20 min forced AFK when raiding any serious content when WG was running.
