mentoring in future game update - Page 3

I dont just want to solo. I usually end up soloing because i got 3 kids and am an enterprise admin for a worldwide company = 24 hour on call pretty much.

If i can group and i have time.. i do.. same with raiding. If i know that i only have 30mins or so to play... i do solo quests or grey runs.

it was amazing how much my digestion imporved when i retired from raiding, I stopped ordering pizza and chinese all the time, which i had to do to be ready to raid at 5:15pm. I actually know the names of my kid's friends too!

well, back the subject of the auto mentoring, I don't think that you should have to return to the NPC to unmentor, but I do think that they should restrict flag travel when automentored. They are adding missions in contested zones to kill nameds. You could set a flag right next to a named, call back, mentor, and take the flag to complete the quest with no effort. Even without quests, it is a huge opportunity for exploits for killing nameds for AA.

Quite honestly, mentoring is so broken at this point because a level 80 mentored down to a level 30 has the equivilent ability of a level 50. They need to increase the stat/gear/spell reduction dramatically.

yea it def is a bit unbalanced.. My friend made a new char.. i mentored down to lvl 12 to help him lvl. I should not be able to 1 shot yellow mobs.... and take on 5 yellows and end the fight with 100% health

With the AA XP slider, I will be able to convert as much combat XP as I want to AA. Theoretically I should be able to start at level 40 at the top of Runnyeye and get to the bottom, having gained 5-6 AAs and not 1 level if I so choose.

Kunark was a fluke because folks cleared it with Faydwer raid gear. I doubt that was the intention.

yeha i know peeps that did this..they were in ava gear though which was still pretty bad ass These players are fucking leet so it was no surprise they cleared it in EOF raid gear.

This has been said many times already, but you can say the same for this expac avatars..they were cleared before the raid zones..i do not think this was intended either.

Yeah, we get together with our 24 bestest friends and say..yeaaaa..we can get loot tonight so we can solo better!!!! You should be able to solo anything with quested gear or mastercrafted for that matter.
