Is it summer, or is the game dead?

Seems like nobody is on the game anymore. I have toons on AB and Bazaar. The Bazaar is always dead...but AB even seems like people just aren't around anymore. Has EQ2 met the end of the road? Or will it pick up in the fall?

This is a dead game. Not EQ2 though.

Also combination of summer plus betas of other games. It'll pick back up in a few months, especially mid-February.

I expect a return of many of my guildies in the next 2-3 weeks. Summertime partying and vacations. With many players gaming comes back with school.

Everyone in my guild, myself included, seems to have better things to do over the summer. I expect a return to normalcy sometime in September, when seasonal events close up and kids go back to school.

Come back to what? I know a few guilds that have done it all, and what is there to keep you in for another 7 months?

Lets see, this will keep the customer base for another 7 months, The Shard of Love, the new x4 they put in 4 months ago, the upcoming EF x4, the Kurns Tower x 2, or WoE.

Wiith AION coming out, AoC getting great reviews on their recent changes, WoW (yes its a fun game), and LoTRO coming out with an expansion I really cant tell you what is going to keep EQ2 from losing more of its customer base.

I know a few dozen raiders that have quit. A majority have gone to WoW, and the other half have quit due to boredom or got burned out by TSO.
