We got a 40% carpet for free, from "heroic or lower content" .. why should we do another quest (possibly line?) for the same thing, and we pay 10 plat in the end? Atleast its a new model, though. Either way, I'm sticking with my carpet, as long as it works and gets me places, I could care less how it looks.

ok ...so this mean a raid with no monk no monk gear will drop great but am....
what about the 8 bruiser gloves that keep droping ? does it fix that?

Yes, RNG fixes are also included in the patch. (comments about it on this thread: link)

Jeez, don't get your panties in a bunch. The free carpet from DoF was 40% runspeed and this Warg is 40% AND costs 10plat. Okay, do the carpet quests for free or the warg quest s AND pay 10p and get the same damn runspeed? Lame, thats why I said it shoulda been faster. I did NOT say it should be better then lvl 60 guild rewards did I? No, so dont put words in my mouth.
Guild level 60 rewards were plain SHIT to begin with, those need upgraded if you wanna talk about guild rewards. The GL60 war barded horses should be 60% and the Nightmares 54-55%. Then they could have had the Warg at 49-50% with the DoF carpet still at 40% run speed. It would be lower then the guild rewards obviously but higher then the DoF carpet.
I was hoping the Warg would be at least higher then the DoF, 44-45% or so. It would still be lower AND be better then the FREE DoF carpet since you are paying 10plat for it. So again, I never said make them better then guild rewards but I at least thought it was going to be faster then the DoF carpet from 2 expansions ago.

On the brightside of things the server performance does feel a hell of a lot better. I was running 2 accounts on one computer and zoning almost instantly (it felt like an eternity in the past).
Edit: On test that is.

Good news, hope its translates to live servers as well. Im curious as if any EoF raid zones feel "better" after these new server tweaks, any raiders on Test?

Mount runspeed should be based on the coolness of the mount. The Nightmare should be fastest, and the Mistrunner should actually cut your speed in half due to a limp wrist not being able to properly grip the reins.

Mount runspeed should be proportional to effort involved. When you hail the guy in Sinking Sands for your carpet (is there more to that? doesn't seem like it), he shouldn't be giving you free runspeed that would ordinarily cost you 9-10 plat.

Hmm. If I was a Dev, I'd prolly have it set to random any unused spaces of the 6. Say you trio Head Butler Z'ral in Mistmoore Catacombs.

Still three spaces left, so the code that reads classes that gain hate on the mob would prolly randomize for the remaining of the 6 slots. The word "Participate" in the test notes makes me think gain hate in battle with the mob.
