Race Change Confirmed

Took the /survey today, and they did, in fact, confirm race changes:

"The EQII team is adding a service that allows you to change the race of your character, much like a server transfer or a name change. In order to help us determine how to proceed with this service, please choose the answer that best represents your preference as it relates to this new service."

Personally, I think that if you don't like your race, use an illusion, and if you need to change race to take advantage of a racial trait, then you really need to ask yourself if that's REALLY what's causing you to suck.

EDIT: Also, this is just kind of a funny bit, if you select "No" on the question "Is eq2players.com your primary source of information?" they'll ask you where you get it from. They continue to disendorse* flames, as it's not one of the choices.

*If that's not a word, I just made it up.

I want to change to an Erudite for the 5% cast speed. Doesn't mean I suck, it's just common sense.

Personally, I think your opinion is a joke. For a class like a Wiz, there's handsdown a "best race" to choose. Here I come Erudite.

That bit made me laugh at the time, shows how bullshit their surveys are if they can't even face the facts and do things right. If the survey meant shit they would have done it properly and put flames on the list regardless of what their stance is, you don't just put shit you agree with on them. Defeats the whole point of a survey, well atleast one that matters.

Its not a question of sucking or not sucking.. cause obviously the bonus of changing is minor..

The question is, if you have the chance to pick between two races for your class, where 1 choice is obviously better.. It would be stupid not to choose the better one.

There wasnt a choice for many players, since they made their characters before these traits were around. Now they can make the choice the shoulda been able to do to start with.

Its so funny everybody complained about spending cash for server transfers. Now all those same people are going to be spending even more cash on server transfers, name changes and now a race changes. SOE got you by the balls and you dont even know it.

Have fun filling up that SOE trust fund.

Ever since they announced the racial traits that we have now, (KoS Beta), people have been begging for a racial respec. What they should do is give all characters above lvl 20, who existed before KoS launched, 1 free race respec, or make it a /claim reward with Sentinels fate or something.
