I cannot believe they have dumbed down raid encounters so much by adding

here is the rest of it....just read it myself, BIG NERF indeed.

GENERAL
  • x4 raid mobs who heal themselves by 2% when they kill players now only heal this way to 45% of their max health. They will no longer heal at all if they kill players and the mob’s health is above 45% already.
MUNZOK’S MATERIAL BASTION
  • During the final Munzok fight, Elemental Augers will no longer cast Icy Storm (instead they cast two weaker spells).
  • Munzok’s AOE spell Void Inferno no longer clears players’ targets, and Ripping Voidforce does slightly less damage to players who are close to Munzok himself.
PALACE OF THE ANCIENT ONE
  • Void Rippers on the first island and Void Renders on the fourth island have less health than before.
STATION MARKETPLACE
  • You can now purchase Station Cash in increments of $25 dollars.
YKESHA’S INNER STRONGHOLD
  • Ykeshan researchers are no longer immune to stun, stifle and mesmerize effects.

What's interesting is the 2% heal affects every mob in the game that uses this mechanic (covering both RoK and TSO expansions almost in their entirety). And should they continue to use this mechanic, this same thing will exist in Sentinel's Fate.

I was expecting raid content to be nerfed as the xpac went on, but holy crap this is a huge nerf.

Palace Trash has too much HP and it's being toned down? Maybe the shit in Mynzak's area is a bit much, but the stuff before the twins isn't that bad. If anything it's going to make all those existing palace trash parses completely meaningless now.

Those trash parses have always been meaningless...true zw's are all that matter tbh. They just aren't happy that more guilds haven't made it to certain mobs so they're doing the pendulum thing that they think works best for everything. I still expect more guilds to be crying for more nerfs to encounters simply because they're too lazy to figure out the mechanics.

I really don't see how this is a big nerf. The only thing I can think of is they want people to "feel" like they are making progress, so a new mob isn't at 100% every time you wipe learning it? If you are dying a lot, you still get stopped at 45%.

with gear degradation inc... this wont affect much... people who couldnt gear up before have more of a chance... to wear decent gear for 5 months. maybe.
