The huge coercer pet has nothing to do with Possess Essence (which was always very small). That is a Dune Scarab that has been charmed then had the troll illusion cast on it. When the illusion is cast on a mob, the scaling factor of the mob over its normal size is retained.

I do remember at one point possess essence made some things larger. Take the Milyex fight in VP for instance, we had 2 coercers who would possess the essence of the statue that you had to burn down just for fun because they would be enormous, even before illusions.

Someone in my guild filled up the hall with dummies during a raid one time. It was funny as hell, but i want to stress something here. It was NOT me. It was especially funny because people started attacking as soon as they zoned in, and no one took off their chokers. The only healer who had any interest in raiding the guild hall was the fury, and she wasn't wasting power on heals.
