They've recently changed the armor quests. I just ran though the monk AQ series and only the last one is heroic. Not a single mighty griffon needed! I did them for the AA, treasured drops from instances, and rare crafted armor both beat the rewards.
Things like Pris 1 will always lose their meaning when the level cap is increased. It is unfortunate, but a product of game expansion. I miss some things from launch, but I left the game for a while just as splitpaw came out due to running out of solo content, long camping sessions for heroic quests, and raid content where it took longer to get 24 slow zoners (for any number of reasons) to the zone-in than it did to complete the zones.
I will never remember fondly my camping of the Eye of Thule in Feerrott. Shards were awful until they let you collect them at zone doors so you could continue to play. Many times did I need to log out for 3 days because of how many shards I lost trying to retrieve the first shard.
The game is much improved in many ways.
And chicken wings rock! Gimme a beer and a bucket of wings anyday.
