I am only wearing one piece of EoF heroic gear which is my cloak, which didn't exist in KoS. The Sorcers use wand's of crystalized plasma but lets face it Itemization for mages is a pile of shit anyways (even greater that normal pile of shit itemization).

yea that is just a dumb statment, KoS raid gear is obvisously way better. I have not been impressed at all with EoF heroic stuff. For my class it all sucks.

What is interesting is how evenly split this pole is.

Spells did not have to be remastered in EoF and the avatar loot is way way way out in left field considering how many players are killing them without any real competition at all.

There was all this bitching and moaning about there not being enough contesteds and not enough content and yet before the starting gun even fires there's already a desire to obsolete everything we have with another tier. Supposedly every single design mistake made by SOE will be completely solved and learned-from and the starting content of T8 will outnumber all T7 content. Well, it would have to for its advocates not to be hypocrites. This is a self-defeating stance and will never result in a lasting enjoyment of the game.

I'd like to recommend another game for players of this style, who like to churn numbers without any interest whatsoever in the fantasy context of this game.

A level increase is absolutely neccessary. I cannot stand doing KoS, I will blow my brains out if I cannot get some new fucking combat art upgrades, etc. More AA's is just going to get old. This content is so exhausted it is not funny, we need something new here.

Hell, there isn't even enough raid zones in EOF to keep you busy all week thats why half of us do KoS still.

For those asking what people mean and to see examples of how KoS gear made EoF gear obsolete, i think some people say it in broad general terms, because i havent seen that be the case for EVERY Class (the Strongwhatever crap isnt better than most Doomrage/Relic for Zerkers, although certainly some pieces may be), but there are certain ones where it IS the case (My mystic for example).

Now to give specifics, I stopped wearing the Doomseer Bracers once i got the Ykesha ones from whatever EoF heroic instance that was from ... Same thing with the shoulders, and i'm sure there are other pieces and other classes like that. I got stuff from Kos Raids replaced by EoF heroic content ... right there. :-)

What is the point of +500 to a later-tier nuke or combat art if all the later-tier mobs will have higher health to match? What did you gain by that?

Do you think that adding a tier will mean that you get master spells and everyone else doesn't? Do you think that spells like Ice Nova will suddenly stop dropping off of level 70 solo mobs? That progression will stay as broken as it was before.

For the most part, the same people that made the last tier's content will be making this tier's content as well. Do you think a new tier meant that Gallenite fires everyone and starts over by hiring new devs from EQ2 raid guilds? If you say this content is shit, what do you predict will seriously deter you from declaring the next content to be shit as well?

Everyone's comments make it seem like the game has no replay value, and if that's seriously the case with any of you, then this game has bigger problems than you should be forgiving it for.

A tier increase is like cutting off the nose to spite the face. I think that people have no idea what they're asking for.

with each teir added we get further away from what we once loved about this game, content. t5, the glory days, had lots for stuff for everyone more stuff then most, if any could raid in a week. i for one hope they dont increase the lvl cap just increase the content. the other thing that bothers me with every lvl increase is the massive combat changes. i was almost lvl 60 before i could do the same as i was at lvl 50 pre DoF.
