So we can change race, gender, and name. What does it actually effect as far as gameplay goes? Nothing.
Class changes would break that rule and, given the speed you can hit 80, would be pointless.
Why can't we waste real cash on fluff? There's nothing on the marketplace that breaks what the game was, nor is there anything that you have to buy to maximize your potential.
Get over it (and yourself), pussy.

Thats a pretty good reply ... but you are just another comprehension challenged reader. Protip : look for the caps part at the bottom of the original post.
WHERE THE FUCK IS MY CAPS LOCK FOR THESE RETARDS ? OH THERE IT IS >>>
OK NOW ...... DEFINE "REAL EFFECT ON THE GAME"
IF VISUAL APPEARANCE MEANS NOTHING IN TERMS OF GAMEPLAY WHY ARE WE NOT ALL JUST STICK FIGURES?
OK NOW >> THIS IS GONNA BE HARD TO FOLLOW SO BEAR WITH ME ... WHAT IF THE REASON YOU PLAY ISN'T TO BECOME THE MOST POWERFUL PLAYER, YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT WHICH CLASS IS OVERPOWERED OR WHICH ITEM IS THE BEST OR ANYTHING AT ALL HAVING TO DO WITH GAME BALANCE. ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS HOW YOUR PLAYER HOUSING LOOKS OR WHAT YOUR AVATAR LOOKS LIKE << REAL EFFECT ?
Protip: It's all in how you percieve things and whats important to you.
It all boils down to this .. EQ2 has become what a large portion of the playerbase did not want .. and that is .. a game where you can buy, with real money, just about whatever you want in the game...and yeah I do blame the players for this. We are the true creators of the secondary market.
