well, eq2 does have a habit of hiring from sites. So if you look at WHO are the heads for the greater known sites you got:

tamat
autumnkiss
gninja
aggrome

Now I'm right the hell out. For no other reason then...well...they couldn't afford me. gninja as far as I know is in the air force in germany, so he's out. Aggro is some corporate attorney in new york so I can't IMAGINE he'd do a HUUUGE step down salary wise. I know very little about autumn so I can't really say.

I'd even imagine radar would be a logical choice, but he says he's out too.

So if they want to pull from a fansite, that just leaves tamat.

edit: I'll put kendricke in that now, but since I'm on the phone with him now and he says it's not him, it's not him.

I'd take the job, but no it's most definetly not me. There are other sites we may not be considering like MMORPG.com but that seems unlikely. It's intriguing to think about though.

How are we sure its going to be a Fan Site guy? And are we sure he's taking over for Blackguard? Maybe he's taking over for Raijinn (which would be an interesting revalation).

I don't know exactly what information you were given, so saying he's going to be in SD on Thursday doesn't = he's getting BG's job.

I know you won't reveal your sources, but were you given more information than "The head of a popular fan site is the top choice for the job" or are you speculating on the information you do have?

This is exceptionally distressing to me, and if he is named as the successor, I will be writing a very strongly worded letter to Sony, expressing my disdain for the hiring of someone who heads a site run by IGE. Unfortunately thats pretty much the only option open to me.

So that leaves tamat, or like radar said, some site I might not be thinking of like mmorpg.com.

I really don't think loral from mob hunter would take it either.

So if it is a fansite person, it seems quite possible to be him.
