I love it when kids own themselves w/o reading or knowing anything. Fix the servers lmao. Did you know that we are going to 64 bit as well vise staying on 32?

In closed Beta Aion ran exceptionally well. The last open Beta was pretty bad in the beginning but did eventually get better. It really makes zero sense why there were any issues at all since this is not a new release for the most part. Aion has ben around for at least 1 year or so.

The nagafen upgrade from 32 to 64 was with gu53, correct? How was that sever in terms of lag? I am wondering if the upgrade helped with the issue compared to servers still in 32 since they said it would help with performance immensity.

They postponed that portion from what I understand. When (next month) they merge the servers, they are going to do a server/software refresh. We are the test bed for the most part for the rest of the servers. Hopefully will increase performance server side.

ah, that's right. Brenlo said in his letter that the upgrade would be with the merge, not with GU53. I wonder when the rest of the servers are going to get the upgrade.

IF they are announcing a gradual investment per server, and have not announced further server merges yet.....I would not bet on any.

I would actually not put it past them honestly to say something down the road like "Hey guys, now that nagafen has been tested successfully and is stable on the new servers, we are going to be converting the other servers one by one. We are also going to take this opportunity to merge some of the lower population servers"

It would make sense to me that if they were ever going to do it, thatd be the perfect time. And you gotta think theyre gonna test it for atleast a couple months on nagafen before putting the other servers on it. You know how slow they do things. Especially judging by the dev post saying theyve been testing it for a full year internally and are only now considering changing one server over to it to test.

nagafen needs it bad though. Contesting Avatars is nearly impossible because everything grinds to a halt. You click a button and literally it doesnt start to cast for around 10 seconds. Massive PVP and contesting avatars might actually be fun if we could play at normal response times. Right now the biggest zerg ever is happening in KP at terrens, with KP up to 5 instances. Its crazy. Stock up on the warlocks for your token farming.
