Is it true you will need a lon loot card for a zone in the next xpansion isn't that rmt?

LoN always was RMT, here is the amazingly unlocked thread on the official forums. It could be a new tactic, but it sure as hell sounds like even Kiara is taken back by it.

If it's a fluff SoL type zone, I wouldn't really care. But if it is a zone that gives actual loot, then it is a bigger issue. But either way, it means that EQ2 dev resources are being allocated to this crap, unless a LoN dev is making the content, which I'm sure is not the case.

i dunno, if they make sure one best-of item for each archtype drops in it someplace, its guaranteed sales right? why would they pass that up shrug.

It's a stupid thing to do such a controversial thing with games like Aion, Champions Online, and Fallen Earth (especially Aion, people prefer high fantasy MMOs over superhero MMOs and sandbox ones) floating about. DERP

Aion doesn't even need to advertise. EQ2 is doing it for them.
