About the only issue I have with this idea is what it holds for the future--hopefully the outcry from people on the forums from the get go will mean Sony won't do something stupid. You know, like suddenly coming out with a dozen zones that DO have loot dropping that can only be accessible via an item obtained from LON packs. Of course, then there's the quality of the loot to take into consideration (on whether I give a crap or not), but it's always possible for this kind of idea to snowball into something that people will start caring about.

If there is AA to be had that can only be gotten through LoN, that will suck. I probably won't quit over it, but meh

I kow they got to pay the bills, and LoN is probly nearly 100% profit since there are no cards to 'print' etc. I kno wthey pay for the artwork, but. . .

How is that differnt then the massive amounts of AA you can gain from potions out of LoN/Store?

Thats not how I interpret the kiara quote. Pay attention the bolded words.

We'll soon see RL items that are won or bought with SC/LON. I imagine the first one to be similar to a sybian horse, that is labelled with a huge SOE on the dildo. Everytime you log in to raid, you get fucked in the ass.
