What Valor are you playing on?
The lags described here (3-5 Sec. spellag at PHH, 10 seconds at Gardener before Charmpatch) i consider
standard or even
extraordinary goodfor Valor. That pulls we don't get more than 3 seconds of spelllag at phh are those we are happy about and won't wipe.
PHH e.g. ist virtually unkillable if there are more than ~50/60 people in lp.
MO is virtually unkillable if there is a third or -god fobid- a foruth raid in bm.
I'm not exaggerating here.
E.g. Our raid can reach up to 30k dps in spite of the "standard lag" of Valor in EH with "normal raidbuild".
Specifically designed for optimum dps we won't even get 20k at MO ever.
Buffed as i am here i can do 2,8 DPS and more in situations w/o lag.
At MO i won't ever reach 2k.
Or another example: As brigand neither at MO nor at PHH i was ever -in dunno how many kills each- able to get two cas chained up to double up. It's just impossible because before and after every single ca there will be a small lag pause at least.
Or take avatars as another example. Our kills here last far over 30 minutes because you just can't do any considerable dps with those lags.
Damn more often than not i can't even get my five "1st choice" cas to hit when dispatched into those 17,5 Seconds! (And no, i'm not stunned/stifled by an ae or the damageshield then)
A mob we killed before, Avatar of Flame, we can't kill anymore.
And it's not because we could not handle the changes here, it's because those changes just increased the lag while fightin this mob by extreme proportions.
After some minutes of fighting i'm down to less than 10 cas per minute, because the lag won't allow any more to fire.
Apart from expressing my wonder about the quoted part, i hope any dev will read this and maybe communicate the extreme lag issues we have on german servers.
Our Server Community has done everything so far to call attention to this issue.
We made dozens of threads in the soe forums, we /bugged, we /petitioned hundreds of times.
We gave a shitload of information including very very detailed descriptions of the situations, dxdiags and whatnot. We offered devs/gms to participate in those raids to make themselves a 1st hand picture.
At last we even officially complained about out community mistress, because we won't see any improvements or even a statement what is planned to be done about this.
If the new patch schould indeed even worsen the lag situations, there won't be anymore eof-contested kills on german servers.
We were riding the edge here already before that patch.
