    Default Epic Repercussions and Betrayal

Im trying to find out if anyone knows what happens if you have completed the mythical conversion quest Epic Repercussions and you betray. Would you have to go back get the fabled and redo the quest, is it even repeatable or does it just flag you for having the mythical buff and if/when you betray you are auto-granted the new myth buff. I know kind of an off the wall question, but Im sure at some point its going to affect more that a few.

I believe fireflyght said you hailed the guy and got the new version of the spell. But you do not have to redo the quest. It will even work if you betray before doing the quest and have only the other weapon. Oh you also get the other weapon and lose your current one.
It's only weird if it doesn't work.

The guy who sells Heritage items in Nektulos sells your mythic and spells(or the guy next to him, forgot). I assume even if you didn't get the switch, you could just buy the new ones there(2p a piece). Either way, it's been said you wouldn't need to redo any quest when betraying.

I know I was reading under a different thread that would be more suited to this post, and I'm sorry it doesn't perfectly pertain to this post in general. I would rather post here than make another post altogether.

When betraying, does a character with a Fabled epic have to re-do the epic quest line to get the Fabled for the new class? I don't see the Fabled version on the vendor at the Nektulos docks. It's not a big deal to run through a few dungeons to get it again, but I would rather not if there is some shortcut.

Complete Epic Repercussions FIRST. Then after you Betray, you can just buy your Mythical from the Nek Forest vendor. If you betray prior to doing Epic Repercussions, then you must do the entire Fabled quest for your new class.

The bolded part may not be true. I know on my defiler, who had betrayed from Mystic before SF released, when i started epic repercussions, it gave me 2 options when i first started the quest, showing both mythicals I had. Its worth a try to at least go to TT and hail the dude with your previous Fabled and see if he will start the script with it.

Unless something changed since beta, what feldon said is not true. The dev who made the questline said he made sure that you only needed one epic weapon, and the quest would take all epic weapons from your character and give you the appropriate weapon and spell for your current class. If there was a way to get an epic weapon for a completely different archtype, I would expect the quest to still work.

Honestly, if you betrayed and have both weapons, you might as well mute one before handing in the quest so you don't lose it completely. Or i guess you could sell it.
