Bullshit. I single handedly got the devs to make the racial respec potions. The 25 charge however... well i had nothing to do with that.

In all seriousness, I am well aware that I am not the only one who wanted this change and was requesting it. I did however have multiple battles for race changes, and went very high up the chain... pretty much to the top of SoE.
It was some time during Fan Faire that I finally got a wrinkle of hope that it might actually happen, so I just kept on beating the drum. I may be just a voice among many, but on this issue I was a very loud voice.

There was a sort of Influencer group on the official forums. It was a group of posters that was invited to a special forum "Community Workshop".
The ideas and concerns expressed there were pretty good and mostly valid (IMHO), but the devs didn't listen there, either. At least most of them. The ones that DID listen are the ones that always do, not our Bottom 4 as noted in this poll.
That group fell apart (as far as I know) out of non-feedback from the Devs. I'm convinced it was (yet another) pseudo-initiative that someone started to be able to put it as a bullet point on their yearly evaluation. Looks good on paper but didn't actually achieve anything.
Granted, you can't please the entire game population all the time. But when there are such strong opinions about the same people from most of the players (as above)...you'd think producers would want to know.
Bottom line ...is the bottom line. We hate those guys but we are still playing. They are still seeing our subscription fee every month, and that's all that counts.
