$25 for each race change

We have 3 regular accounts and a station account in this family, is SoE hoping we'll spend $825 extra on EQ2 this year to adjust to this year's racial vision? Shitty choice really, being blatantly extorted by SoE or characters that aren't what you originally chose.

Who knows what SOE are going to change tweak break and unbreak next about the races, how long before the race chagnes you do buy, change yet again?

Ogre, Troll and new Barbarian racial CC breaks, no longer work while stunned/feared, who knows if they are going to stay that way or get fixed so they are useful traits again for just one example?

You would have thought if SoE were putting in 1 free race change per character they would have replied to that question by now, dodging it, looks like no to me.

your point is? that you have to stick to the decision you made upon character creation about the appearance (race-wise) of your character? because under no circumstance are the new racial traits EVER worth even a single penny spent for a race change.

So despite the Marketing Survey and some very public comments, did they really go through with making Racial Change tokens alignment-based? RP matters here.

I'm not going to pay $25 for 2% health or weak racial traits on long recast, but I do think it's funny they actually changed the archetype that races used to have to ones that make absolutely no sense as far as RP. RP doesn't matter here.

I'm getting this confirmed now since my posts were met with resistance. I KNOW for a fact that it was posted that they were going to be $25 bucks and alignment based, but I'm hearing now that they changed their mind on the alignment thing and its going to be open to any race.

Once I hear confirmation I'll let you know.

$25 bucks isn't that much really, I mean server transfers used to be $50, so now it's like you can get a transfer and they throw in the race change for free!

I don't see why. Betrayal is ezmode and already in-game. Its a quest that takes a few hours at most.

Race changes are totally different as they weren't already implemented in game.
