As long as there's no achievement for "Clear all original TSO instances in one sitting, without stopping for bathroom breaks."

There are some nuts achievements out there on Xbox live, (Bladder of Steel anyone?) something I hope they don't carry over to EQ2. Last thing we need is another guy dying playing a stupid game for sleepless hours to get some virtual reward.

Oh god I remember the Melee ones! I think Miyamoto or another Nintendo guy made fun of achievements once though? I don't remember. I haven't played Nintendo games since Gamecube though, can't afford a Wii. :<

I'm in a fairly scrub guild by the standards of many here but none of the achievements the op pointed out seemed that hard, pretty sure we've already done them a fair number of times.

The times to clear zones also seemed overly generous, you could easily more than halve Tomb of Mad Crusader for example.

The ones that do seem fairly stupid are the short-manning ones. Asking people to sit so that the rest can get some pointless achievement would be a little harsh.

For one, I think these achievements are in the right direction.

They're doable, some are hard and they at least relate to conquering the best content in game.

I still wish they'd put some achivements in for killing content first (ww and server) as well as for clearing content within its expansion (i.e. clear RoK before TSO, etc). At least these would correspond more to what people actually consider achievements. I may not get most of these, but at least it would be something to strive for.
