Not entirely. I know taunt mechanics don't work in the arena, they're supposed to force the tanks target to target them and make it so they cannot change targets for at least three seconds. Such as how the Fighter mobs in ChelDrak's encounter work.

I'm not 100% sure on heals, but I don't believe heals were scaled down for Arena play on PvE servers either.

No it doesn't. It doesn't use the same rules for stealth and invis, taunting and detaunts, resists, control effects, amount of damage from spells and CA's or amount healed. Not to mention the stupid fucking potions everywhere.

What part of the arena is even close to PvP rules? Seriously, have you even used the PvP ruleset?

I think it's a fantastic fucking idea actually. I don't know enough about the PvP rules to know what goes into it, but based on what I've read from the posts, it sounds like the rules would need to be hammered out.

Seriously, how cool would that be though? It could be the spark for a new live event every year or hell every few months. Treat it just like the Colosseum in Rome. Every 3-6 mos SOE could host a best of the best gladitorial style bout and crown the PvP champ for that quarter or half. They'd get some piece of uber loot or something, kinda like their "badge of honor", so to speak. This has some serious possibilities.

I remember when I was in Malice, we would challenge guilds on Grobb for a arena match for money. We all had alot of fun doing it and I think having a cross server arena would definitely be a blast.

Cross server arenas woudl rock... but they woudl ALSO have to give an option to take those fucking potions OUT of the arena. those potions suck.

well so far the yes votes are quite massive, i see only 2 losers.

so whoeverthefuckyouarewatchyouback because i think it would be fun to go fuck some people from another server up, the arena's dead as is becuase there's not enough interest in each server, but i think combined it would prove to be a large untapped resource
