Polls are always more fun when you can see who voted what.

Do arena matches still reset recast timers on every death? I've known that to be a gripe with a few people, especially on the big-hitters.

Unless you're using pets/champions, a cross-server arena will require the copying of every single participating player's spells, gear, AA, etc. from his/her other server. It's not a simple WW chat channel anymore.

In concept it's a badass idea but in practice it would be a drain. On what? On everything.

I say go play WoW if you want cross server "arenas" battlegrounds

well, players in wow stay because there's always something to do because of pvp.

now mind you, i think open pvp in eq2 is fucking lame because the game just isnt setup well for it. but think of how much fun it would be to settle things with a little heads up duel action. i think it would be fun.

now illuminator, i know it might drain resources a bit, but what else will they spend their time on? raids, ha. fixing the way females run? wow great....

i do see what you're saying with copying characters, but they could setup SOME kind of server just for temporary copies for the arena.

maybe it's just me, but i think this is a huge untapped part of the game

I think it is a nice idea, but it isn't anythign revolutionary. It will end up being empty in a few months like majdul etc are... Just another reason for them to have higher server costs and up my subscription fee, again.

I think it would be a great idea if they actually kept up with it instead of just presenting it one month and then never touching it again. Would be nice with added updates and things to keep it interesting. Just my 2cp. This would overall make the player base happy and therefore I'm sure it's a huge no in Sony's book. Love the idea though.
