Default Cross Server Arena

so, my guildmates and i used to go in the arena end of t6, and it was pretty fun.

but you know, kos comes out, no one goes to DOF, and the arena is a pretty large untapped resource if you ask me. they spent the time on it, yet it's empty because there's never enough to ever get any games going.

so make this shit cross server! 6v6 against other guilds, that would fucking ownnnnnnnnnn

so anyone else agree??

This is probably the best idea since locking icons on Hotbars.

I'd support it.

I liked having the arena in Maj'Dul ONLY. That meant you had to leave your little hiding spot for the common meeting area, and it prevented the possibility of separate city factions that were so small as to render the Arena concept worthless.

Who knows, maybe Ak'Anon will be badass as all FUCK and we'll meet there from now on.

I'd wager that the technical planning currently makes a cross-server arena a waste of time. Plus a cross-server arena is an admittance of failure to keep a larger player base.

What does having the Arena in Qeynos(which is connected to the one in Freeport and Maj'Dul) a problem?

The Arena still uses PvE rules, even though we have a PvP ruleset. This is enough for me to vote a big NO!

Sorry, but a Decap or Ice Nova or other instant kill is bullshit. If they impliment PvP rules in the arena, then it'll be a good idea. Not before.

Hmmm... I thought they were separate and distinct, but there was no real way to know because participation was so small and nobody said anything one way or the other. Someone will refer me to a forum post that lays it out but guess what... I never saw it.

That would probably be good to get people in there, personally I never go to the arena because it just doesn't seem to fit the game and it reminds me of a crappy FPS with the look of the zones. Just not my thing I guess.

It uses PvP rules without the immunity rules, as does Dueling.

Try it sometime, you'll find they're all linked and have been since they were opened.
