I hope someone can help me. during raid and only on name fights my hot bars will gray out with an exception of my pet icons i have on them. i can run around annd watch the battle without noticing any lag problems. if i die in combat and get rezzed hot bars are fine. if anyonje has an idea how i can fix this plz tell me

To the OP, how often has this happened? Been going on for a long time or just recently? Usually something like that could be fixed by logging out of eq2 and restarting the program.


Is it possible that an SK in your raid is FD'ing you?

There is some kind of "bot prevention" code in EQ2 that you could be triggering.

In our previous guild, one of our healers was unable to heal the main tank because every time they did, they'd grey out all the spells of the other MT healer. It was totally fubar and both healers petitioned SoE and they said "one of you is running a bot". Well that's crap. One was running Fetish, the other Profit.

I've had my combat arts greyed out but still work when I clicked them. I always chalked it up to a UI issue, isn't the greying controlled on the client side?

I've had it happen before but I'ts been months so I cant remember how to fix it but you can change a setting in game to make them go back to normal.

no i dont bot. i click the spells they still wont cast. my pet still will cast normally and i'm not FD'd. if i log out and log back it it works fine. but when we are ona name fight like in tombs last night gray bars. my profit is up to date and i did a complete file scan
