They said that they are not adding any new spell lines. So we will still be upgrading our T8 spells to T9 spells, but we won't get any new ones at 90, like we have with every other expansion.


So far, I am excited to see this play out and I can't wait to get more information about it. The 2 overland zones is a very good sign imo. That means that we won't be getting a Kunark v2 and it will be more balanced like KoS was. That was the one thing that I said that I would not do, solo another 10 levels. If they can demonstrate that grouping is more adventagous than soloing, then I will preorder. In order to do that, they need to nerf the shit out of coin rewards for solo quests (or increase coin drops from heroic). They need to increase the xp>AA conversion at higher levels. It is spot on when you have about 50 AA, but once you go higher than that, the conversion does not seem right.

I'm most excited about The Hole, i haven't seen good, large dungeon since EoF/KoS.

Sounds a lot like TSO to me, hardly any new zones, and a bunch of random shit that doesn't seem connected at all. I won't be surprised when we end up with-

1 Giant overland zone, Tox Forest, for porting, like a TGrasp, etc.
1 Dungeon that's worth a fuck, The Hole
4+ Instances that can be done by scrubs in the worst gear in under an hour, therefore presenting no challenge at all to a group of good players in better gear.
And what, they'll come out with 3 raid zones, probably have the discussion about adding two more later (TSO anyone?)

So all in all, they're sticking to their formula, and we're all still lapping up all the piss that's going to our ears.

im just disappointed they aren't adding any new mechanics to the game. especially in regards to class customization whether it be more AAs a Dual Class system or something.


but instead we get another 10 levels with the same spells as before ... yay.
