I'm a swash tank at heart.... highlight of my week is Tactician

I like going tanking into MM castle too, but you need good healers there, and some body pulling skills. last group was 2 swash, dirge, inq, defiler, and something else, i forget, some dps though. Kill it fast

Just to follow up:
as long as the same username is used when entering the key for the full game the characters should stay from the trial I think..
If he does buy the game, be sure to buy the EOF retail box if possible. I hear using the online store isnt giving the old expansions for free with the EOF download.
Also, there are 2 kinds of ports around now. This Post explains the portals somewhere (alt+f portals) and has a ton of great info, almost too much... but I'm not one for reading manuals. Welcome to eq2, and the official forums have a lot more info for people just starting out.

my girlfriend and i both hit lvl 16 last night, and i'm starting to get a feel for my guardian, but i'd like to find a place to talk to more guardians, because i'm still clueless

also.. we looked for an hour last night for a place that listed mob levels. like zone maps with mobs in it. because we ran around for several hours and could only find lvl 11 mobs and lvl 19 mobs. it was sort of frustrating..

try www.eq2i.com for information about quests/ zone levels etc.
