I wonder if they will extend it now, or will it only be open like 10 minutes once they get it fixed.

Hotfix Information

The current plan is for the U.S. servers to be brought down at approximately 7:00 AM PDT for the hotfix. If you tend to be in game during this time, please keep an eye out for server broadcasts about the specific time, and consider that it is coming in your decision to enter areas with a lockout timer.

If everything goes well, the hotfix will take care of the dupe problem and character transfers will be enabled. The servers should be unavailable for about an hour, unless something changes the situation.
Resumption of Free Character Transfers

After we have the servers back up and do some initial testing to validate that the live servers are working well with the bug fix, the Character Transfer Service will be activated again, and players will be able to transfer their characters for free.

Due to the fact that it took some time to get this bug fully squashed and tested, we will be extending the free transfer period for another 48 hours to make up for lost time. This will extend the free transfer period to May 9th; after which time the character transfers will be reset to their regular costs. Please be sure to take advantage of the free program before it ends. There will be no exceptions made for folks who do not make a transfer during the free period.

In short form: The servers are going down for a hotfix at about 7:00 AM PDT tomorrow, and if everything goes well the free character transfers will be turned back on and held open for another two days. If you are a European player, expect that your hotfix will come in the typical timeframe. Thanks for your patience while this kink was worked out.

Has the server transfer been stable before or after the dupe bug? I tried it the first day it was free, it was rarely working .. and looks like nothings changed several days later. Was it working at all for a steady period?
