It's kinda Stupid, if all they have is guilds beta testing the combat changes, lets assume EoF opens up this week.
That leaves 1 month 2 weeks to beta 70 levels of content, not enough time imho. Just look at DoF and KoS, they got about the same and were not really finished in time either, and that's not even including the raids etc, they should have given 3 month minimum of beta for a expansion of this size.

Maybe I'm mistaken. I don't remember being able to.

Yeah I seem to remember this too when I got in .. I tried to join a public channel and it said "cannot join" or something. |

I can admit when I'm wrong, but I seem to remember not being able to get into the cross-channel chat that I'm always in. *shrug* |

I specifically remember being able to join ww channels while in KoS beta. But remember, back then the channels were all fucked up. They'd kick you out sometimes and not let you join back in for a while, they kept changing numbers, etc. Was probably just a side effect of that issue that some could and some couldn't.

I seem to recall later in beta, they did allow joining worldwide channels but prior to that, we couldn't .. atleast thats how I remember it |
