I like how wow/eq1 does it where you can have a certain amount on each server.

Yeah I agree on the per server limit, I could even understand an overall limit on top of that, however something like 20 toons rather than 6.

I think it's probably how the original system was designed. I'm hoping this is the beginning of them expanding the total number of available slots maybe gradually.

Oh, that would so rule. I have two accounts and am always grumbling that I wish I could duo with this or that pair that have both toons on one acct. My hubby suggested doing some swapping during the free transfers but I had to respond that then I'd just grumble that I couldn't duo with the ones I do currently!
