will the plat loot be removed from the chests in zones like PR and SoH when the expansion hits?
I sure hope so, else we can expect plat flooding into the game as everyone and their mom can 1group/duo/box these zones when leveling up?

uhm... youve been able to do so for over a year now... the only difference is that notorious non-raiders might be able to one group these things... but then again, they run shard zones 24/7 and have nothing to spend their cash on so they have ridiculous amounts of money anyways (ever seen a char you have never seen or heard of bid 1k plat on t4 bp/legs/shoulders?)

true, but of course this will be way more easy when everyone is lvl 90 with 200+ AA.
Asking this also because I havent been around with previous expansions so was curious if this was happening at that time as well. (never seen cash runs for lower lvl raid zones...made me wonder)

well... iirc only chests from ROK onward contained plat, hence no t7 "cash runs" on raid zones. although there always have been and probably will always be status runs to CoAA when theres a guild level increase... especially with the self-mentor thnig you dont even need to find a lowbie for every group.

Yeah, the assload of plat in a box was a RoK thing. And, from what I heard, they are removing it from PR. I would assume that they are doing the same for all chests that drop loads of coin in t8.

PR really is the only one worth removing. All the other ones take too much time for the amount of plat you would get. Plus, taking into consideration the lockout, you could probably farm more from solo mobs in the same time period if you put some effort into it.

I just had to try that for myself. Anyway, I hope they don't remove the plat drops, I suck at making money int this game. And it looks like they've added a hell of a plat sink to raiding so my guild split probably won't be worth a fuck.

what about first 3 nameds in SoH?.. they can be 1grouped now easily and quick as well.. (allthough long lockout.. right about that)

anywayz.. thinking that would be good because you would be able to get some plat is just stupid, since plat will be inflated like shit then....
prepare buying loot rights for 2k plat ;)
