Two Mains? Does that make sense?

Yeah, that's right, I say I have two mains. Imtithal and Rhoslyn.

When I tell people this, they say it doesn't make sense, and Rhoslyn's my "old main." I haven't abandoned Rhoslyn at all!

I say I have two mains because of different servers as you can see.

Anyone else have two mains? Or something similar?

Am I even making sense?

i used to. my "old" main was my assassin, my "other" main was my fury. i played them both regularly, lvled them up together so at the most they were 10 lvls apart, then id play the other one, catch her up, then go back to the other. or for raids, id take them both to the meet point & then be like okay, which toon? they both had their own dkp accounts (since we did "alts" separate in my old guild), but each had over 2k dkp, so i played them both a LOT. so yeah, 2 mains, not 2 diff servers, but i played them both regularly, that i considered them co-mains.

now my main is DEFINITELY just my fury cause i got bored on elek, she's "retired" but i DID move her over to najena from nek to be with the rest of my toons. & i made my "alt" into my monk. the rest of my toons r just pretty much randoms.

hehe i have 2 mains right now myself, my monk and my paladin. its a bit easier tho when you are raiding indipendently on whatever raid you can talk your way into (i have dkp with 3 guilds right now), but one of the guilds who i raid with does this on a regular basis. their raid leader has a 70 pal, wiz, and a coercer, the other guild leaders have, by person, 70 templar fury warlock, and 70 pal alt, 70 illu and mystic, and many of their members do things similarly, based on what may be needed for the particular raid. so TBH, its really not that uncommon for the guilds who arent "hardcore" too have people with multiple mains.

My wizard and coercer are very very similar to this situation; I sometimes feel naked when I bring one to a group without the other. Although as a rule the wizard gets priority over everything and is my raid main.

I just got into this situation. I played my Warlock for 2+yrs raiding with him and then just recently switched to my Fury which was my alt to my main so i could raid.

Neither my Befallen guild or the Nagafen guild are very hardcore. Both Dawn of Evolution and Betrayed raid, and raid well for casual smaller guilds, and both know full well of my two main thingies. So I'm not alone!

I alternate between Imtithal and Rhoslyn. Some days I just don't want to play a Necromancer AGAIN, know what I mean?

Yeah, sometimes I wish I could have my two Befallen alts, Natala the swashbuckler and Zaliki the illusionist on at the same time. They're my fuzzy little alts.

Eventually Natala, my 57 swash, will be my next level 70 character after Rhoslyn and then Imtithal. Natala will be kinda more useful for raids than Rhoslyn unless a super-ultra-backup tank is needed.
