wtb Open Arena
Well, pretty much since the start of the game I have been waiting and hoping for a open arena, such as the ones in eq1, to be implemented. I'll explain the eq1 arena for those of you who perhaps never played it, the most common style of arena was a stadium type where there was a pit, which when you dropped in you became pvp active and there would be a gate/exit which when you ran through and you became no longer pvp active. They were usually located in any main city.
Anyways, the arena in this game is still bugged and hardly anyone plays in it anymore. Now, they could easily make a open arena much better than the ones in eq1.
They could also make a zone that is linked to every server and from any major city people could zone through, and a eq1 style best of the best (botb) arena could be setup, which was just a large flat platform, but would have to restrict leaving so players couldn't jump in and out easily, option to leave is by death or click the eqII button and a time limit would be placed before you can enter again. Maybe there could also be platforms (zones off from the main arena?) setup for some group vs group action where you register your team. Obviously something would have to be done so players couldn't use the zone to trade/sell items, so simply do not allow player to open their bags or something better so players can switch gear. With all the new starting cities, perhaps it would also be best to do this type of zone for each server. Just make a zone to each of these zones in each starting city.
Well, thoughts? I am sure you all can come up with lots of ideas.
