I'm a big fan of the "What the fuck does it matter?" stance.

I have six toons. Two of them are female. An iksar brigand and a fae coercer.

The other four toons are male, and all four of them are older than the female toons. Why did I start rolling chicks? Beats the hell out of me. I just got tired of playing guys. Also, I liked the idea of a chick brigand, my main was already a male iksar, and I can't stand to have any of my toons be the same race/sex as another. Just one of my quirks.

There is no one reason anyone does anything. No two murders where done for exactly the same reason. Everyone is unique, living unique lives with unique experiences, and unique reasons to think the way they do.

Guys that play females do it for a single reason? Because they are gay? Oh and all murders are caused by video-games, obviously.

Utter crap, everyone has a completely different reason for playing the character they play, be it male or female. Maybe Guy No.1 plays a female character because he wants to be chatted up by guys, but Guy No. 24 plays a female because he wants to watch jiggling boobs all day long, and Guy No. 231594 plays a female toon because he wants to be different and stand out.

So stop ith the horrible generalizations, please.

My characters follow the Charlie's Angels format. Guess who gets to be Charlie. It'd be totally flavorless if all my characters were dudes. To be fair, all my mangina chars say "I have a penis irl" in their profiles.

at the risk of flamage... here goes. my firs toon in eq2 was a female ranger why female?

well back in the day when i played UO before eq2, female avatars could wear male gear as well as female gear. whereas males could not wear female gear... sooo i rolled a female so that i could have a larger choice of armor in uo.
I took that mind set over to eq2 however soon as i discovered that there is no sex seperation of armor i quickly deleted the ranger cause well rangers suck and my reason for the female was no longer there.. call me insecure i dun care... but from then on i have rolled male toons
