SOE just laid off 35 people today.

No current EQ2 devs that I'm aware of, but one ex-EQ2 dev, Saavedra. He was pulled off EQ2 some years back to help develop The Agency.

not really appropriate for the official forums, but I wanted to pop in and thank you all for playing EQ2 for the last few years.

You helped make it an absolute joy of a job, and I'm sorry to be moving on, but I suppose that thems the breaks.

Please keep on keepin on, having fun, and kicking the crap out of all of the encounters us poor Content designers create for you.

Hopefully y'all enjoyed some of everything I've worked on over the last few years as much as I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to create it for you.

Ouch. Sorry Brett. Really enjoyed the encoutners you designed. Its unfortunate that they didn't even consider player feedback when deciding who to cut. You were one of the better content designers imo. A loss for the team.
