Default Re: Hate Generation in EQ2

Played my SK alt a while ago. With EoF AA you can have your rescue give you 6 hate positions on top of a flat hate number. Did hit it in a group and didn't end up with the hate, i.e aggro. That, how ever, was pre the patch that said it was fixing hate positioning CA's/spells. Will try this again though to see if it was "fixed" or not. But if hitting that rescue does not net the first place on hate list, in a group of 6, I'll go with what Jonathon's posted (it does feel - allready - to be inline with what I've experienced so far anyway).

Well, the next LU patch notes sure as hell puts a spin on this.

well... scouts should now have more trouble with getting aggro (quite a bit more) and I think casters may see a slight increase in the aggro capturing capabilities...

Summoners carry on as before :P

I don't think it's going to be a big change for my Warlock. I already pull it like crazy anyways.

Hmm guess you didn't have to hold your breath too long *cough*.

I like the sound of the agro changes, I'd very much like to see this be a more challenging aspect of raiding. Some people will probably hate the changes but I think its the right idea.

As long as i can do Decent DPS without pulling aggro all over the place, i'll be happy. But i fear that I'll be regulated to watching my aggro like a hawk and timing every combat art in an effort to make a max dps .... /sigh.

This is gonna suck..
