I hate names that are really sad attempts to be clever, and names stolen from obvious sources, especially those that couldn't get their name first, and decided to misspell it so they'd be doubly original.

I reported every Final Fantasy name I saw, and goddammit, I'm proud of it.

whats funny is there was a guild on LAVASTORM that went in a few months into kos on nek before it got changed (see knights of the temple, formerly Knights Templar). so WHAT THE FUCK?

alright seriously, building on what i said, this is fucking retarded. we have 2 class archetypes in game which need a name change if they are gonna keep up like this, as well as 3 classes which need name changes. if they are going too ban names like knights templar, they need too totally rename the crusaiders and the clerics. crusaiders from the knights of the church who invaded the middle east in the time known as the great crusaides. clerics from the clergy of many christain churches world wide. as for paladins, they were the high ranking priest/knights of the catholic church during said crusaides, and templars were simply members of the knights templar. and inquisitors, see the church dungeonmasters and torturers who questioned prisoners/heretics.

enough said, soe is hypocritical beyond belief on this. and anything which isnt true or acurate in my post, blow me, even if the exact wording of it isnt the same, its still an official historical refrence too real world events

ed: building on that, dont even get me started on how far druids, shammans, wizards, ect... go back in historical events. either they allow it ALL or totally revamp the game on which its built.

Technically, every guild name violates the Naming Policy, its whether or not some ass reports you and you get a clueless GM.

Take any guild name, Google it, and you will have to come up with something.

Actually, way back when a few guildies and myself made an evil PvP guild on Nagafen, I came up with the name Qeynocide.

The only thing that comes up on google for Qeynocide is someone on EQ2players who happens to still be a member. :3
