The changes on the whole are an insult. I'm so sick of these sweeping changes.

those change are lame we are mid expansion with nothing else to do but raid, and we ll have to relearn everything. couldnt they implement those changes with RoK when we d have a whole 10lvl grind to get the feeling of those changes...
Not to mention a lot of people will have to rework on their gear.

Now i see every class having to hold back on DPS instead of trying to push their character to the extrem limith of their toon's potential... Good player will have to refrain and be force to play slightly better than average joe if they dont want to draw aggro...

harder time holding aggro, less DPS, more time spent killing trash and nameds = more timesink, that isnt what i m looking forward as challenge...
if only they were balancing mobs as well.

sidenote : i wonder how the 2 D'viswin brother will be when you ll need to burn them with the overall dps being lowered

The only reason people didnt get upgrades to their % based spells is becuase the % was so high already. Alot of people bitching about the fact they cant find the master of their % base spells because they are low in tier is more then likly the reason for the nerf. They are nerfing to make new t8 ones to keep people from bitching about not being able to get the masters, and also not making spells to powerfull. Think about it if they didnt do this amends would be what 75% next tier or somthing like that.

I can't believe he changed coercer Enraging Demeanor, dirge Hyran's, swashies Swarthy Disorder and assasin's Murderous Design all at once! These changes, along with the "fix" to double attack is gonna rly hurt guilds that rely on buckler specked MT/OT's and are gonna require some serious un-learning (<- if that's even a word). For those casters laughing at the rogues self de-aggro nerfs, yes we'll have to watch ourselves more closely now but, the 4 changes on the top of my post are going to hurt everyone in the raid so I wouldn't get too excited about this test update it tbh.

Amends wasn't changed, so from this PoV they're still on the same track.

I can almost see their point on the coercer nerf if that cap was at 50, they had no room to breath, you'd already been there since 52. At least like this with a DPS spec'd coercer you're not losing very much ground. It seems like coercers pull more than their fair share of aggro (my 1.5k DPS gets me aggro while the wizards 3k doesn't?) which might be from the power drain on spells. So at least there's an attempt at a case in that scenario.

As far as the other classes go, well, you just got bent over, and from the looks of it they forgot the KY.

And as far as re-learning how to raid... What else are we doing? Bitching about not having anything to do. So maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Something new to figure out while we wait for something worthwhile to do. Yes I understand that it's something that takes away a characters abilities, but it also adds a bit of difficulty back, maybe if only for a while.

For the people complaining about Amends, it's a shitload more common than ED or Murderous Design. Just a thought. :-)
