So... Here we are.. Another Tuesday and another live update.

Lets see... Oh. Its the same annoying bull[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] that was here 2 weeks ago.....

10 people out of 24 client app error crash... All at the same time.... From all over the world...

Dont tell me its my machine, dont tell me its my ISP....

Your crap product testing continues....

So, either pull the Gerbil out of Lyndros arse and put it back on the little mouse wheel that powers your gimp [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] servers.... or dont push crap out if you havent tested it.............

Ya fixed what ever was screwed up last time.. ya think ya would have learned from your mistakes...

So, heres a helmet for the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] who pushed the crap patch... Go bang your head into a wall a few more times.. and I Will see what I can do about getting a tailor to make a custom napkin to swipe up all that drool that is coming from your mouth...

This fucking chain crashing bullshit is driving me insane. Once it starts, you get locked into the zone and can't stay on long enough to gate. But then the only way to stop the problem for a bit is to zone. This is a freaking nightmare.

Not able to log into East Freeport now on my main character, I crash everytime after trying to load from the character selection screen. It doesn't matter which computer I try to use to log in, the same thing happens on two totally different, unlrelated computers.

Just like last time, this bug is related to my character, and will stay with my character regardless of the computer or connection I use to log onto it, until I zone. But again, the catch 22 is I can't zone, because I can't stay logged on that long.

Not sure I'm gonna be able to continue raiding today.

I vote 2 things..

A) No confidence for the reason that you pointed out LFG.. Same shit as 2 weeks ago , but yet patched back in... Why do I think this? Do I think they put LU 28 out in 2 weeks? Fuck no. So, whats to say that the code or updates for LU 28 wasnt scrutinized prior to launch to ensure that what was causing issues 2 weeks ago was removed?

B) Quality assurance at SoE is the most piss poor developement that I have ever seen. Mistakes are made, yes thats true in any industry. But when you release something, you ensure that it is tested and tested and tested. As far as I know, there isnt a large testing base. Why? Because there is no compensation for testing ( Because programmers aernt going to look for what gamers look for ). Test Server? It still amazes me that corrections are coming on content that has been live since day 1. So, that in itself only reinforces this statement.

I pray to the god of gamers that some hardcore gamer wins the Power ball one day and decides to invest in making a good product with a good testing team. God knows that any decent product that gets introduced SoE trys to get there little grubby hands on. What would be great is some lil fucker saying.. " No Thanks, Im fine on cash... and Btw, go fuck yourself"

Count on it. If I hit the lottery, I'm going to put into place the game my brother and I have been conjuring up for a while now. We haven't decided if it should be for PC or a console, yet.

Aren't LiveUpdates great!

You'd think by now we'd have just one LiveUpdate where everything goes through smoothly, and we can play again after the actual hour they say the servers will be down for (must be SOE hours. 1 SOE hr = 3 earth hours).

I'm looking forward to a liveupdate that actually works properly, where we aren't patching everyday for the next week after the LU, and we aren't crashing to character select everytime we try and freaking zone.

Seriously, WTF are they testing on Test Server? If they ARE actually fixing anything the Test people /bug then I'd hate to see what it would be like without test server.

Also, I know this is eq2 flames, and not eqiiforums.station.sony.com or whatever the web addy is, but please don't tell me to "make a character on test server" I'm Australian and I'd rather not play on a server that's dead in my prime time :P

I had this problem and deleted everything in my Everquest II\cache\ folder, it fixed the problem for me.

I just made this post on the SoE boards, in the tech section. And to the above poster, this has squat to do with my cache files, I auto delete those on boot.

Look, me and others in my guild have been dealing with this for weeks now.

I'm not gonna post detailed files because this has squat to do with my computer. This is your buggy product.

Here's why I say that:

At the EXACT SAME MICROSECOND, 3 to 5 members of my guild are experiencing the same EQ2 client crash at the same time. It happens every day now.

When the program crash occurs, I get the windows message saying my program has crashed, and asking me if I want to send that data to Microsoft. I click the hyperlink and see that it as generated some sort of error file, usually like to a temp\c963_appcompat.txt file or similar. But when when the program finishes crashing, there is never any trace of that file on my comp, including not in any hidden file or directory, so please don't ask me any nub questions like do I know where my "any key" is.

I'm then unable to log back into that raid instance without crashing repeatedly for the same EQ client crash error. I'm usually not able to stay on more than 3 seconds. The only way that I can get back in is when my guild has fully exited the zone, so when I log back in, it boots me to the outside zone.

This problem now occurs every time me and 3 to 5 other members of my guild use Deathtoll, Halls of Seeing, Lyceum, Vyemms Lab, etc., etc.

The problem has ZERO relation to my computer. Let me repeat: the problem is unrelated to my computer in any way. I know that as a logical certainty because I'm unable to log into the exact same character from 2 other completely unrelated computers at the same time without crashing in the exact same way - and those other comps have totally different hardware and video cards. On any of my comps and accounts, however, I'm able to log into and play ANY OTHER CHARACTER EXCEPT MY MAIN.

THIS PROBLEM IS THEREFORE 100% RELATED TO YOUR SERVER AND MY CHARACTER, NOT MY INTERNET CONNECTION, MY COMPUTER OR ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN YOUR PRODUCT OR EQUIPMENT.

Surely you've been hearing about this from others besides just me and my guild. Please, therefore, tell me what is being done about this. Because right now, I think you owe me a refund of at least a months fees.
